New Report Shows Significant Battery Manufacturing Progress
A new report released by the Energy Storage Coalition shows that the energy storage industry is poised to supply 100% of domestic energy storage projects with American-built battery systems. U.S. systems manufacturing capacity is at 70 GWh and expected to more than double by the end of 2026, reaching 146 GWh.
As demand grows and speed to power becomes essential, energy storage will become an important resource to provide affordable and reliable energy to power grids. The energy storage sector is expected to generate more than 350,000 jobs as a result of this growth.
